Since our Grand Opening was November 6th 2009, I think it's high time we join the 21st century and talk about our fabulous restaurant located in Silverton Oregon.
Ok, so let's start with the boring details: I have lived and worked in the Silverton Community for 17 years, raising four children, coaching baseball, worked my way through nursing school in the food service industry. I spent the last 13 years working at Silverton Hospital most recently as Emergency Department Nurse Manager. All of 2009 on my very short drive to work, I continued to drive by this lovely empty restaurant, thinking "this is what I need to do" celebrate my passion for food and open a restaurant! Yea, right, we all know the economy isn't exactly kind to the restaurant industry in the best of times, but here I was considering opening in the worst of times, but you know the saying "Life is short, no regrets" so here I am.....
Lisa's on Water Street is a collaboration of many years being served and serving others in the restaurant/catering industry. It's all about what I want when I spend my hard earned money in a restaurant. Like everyone else, I want it all; excellent service, inviting environment, fabulous homemade food reminiscent of grandma's kitchen (which by the way she is in the kitchen) all at a reasonable price! Well, welcome to Lisa's on Water Street.
If you are looking for traditional breakfast favorites with a few surprises, great homemade soups and speciality sandwiches, or perhaps an affordable casual fine dining experience, or maybe you need that afterwork quiet spot to enjoy a much needed adult beverage, then look no further because Lisa's has it all. As I said we have it all so I failed to mention our fabulous ever changing dessert tray loaded with homemade specialties sure to please every sweet tooth! Come by and have a cookie anytime or better yet, make us your date night destination for spanish coffee and a peak at the night's offerings.
